Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS)

Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) is a payment service that allows a bank customer to use Aadhaar as his/her identity to access his/her Aadhaar enabled bank account and perform basic banking transactions like the following

i. Cash Withdrawal
ii. Balance Enquiry
iii. Mini Statement
iv. Aadhaar to Aadhaar Fund Transfer

Aadhaar Consent

I/We hereby submit voluntarily at my/our own discretion, the physical copy of Aadhaar Card / physical e- Aadhaar / masked Aadhaar / offline electronic Aadhaar xml as issued by UIDAI (Aadhaar), to the Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank Limited (the Bank) for the purpose of establishing my/ our identity / address proof and hereby voluntarily grant my consent to the Bank for Account Opening/Re-KYC and to enable AEPS services through Aadhar based e-KYC authentication/Biometric authentication/OTP authentication in my name in individual capacity or in the name of the proprietorship firm/partnership firm/company/LLP /Trust/Society in the capacity of its authorised signatory / beneficial owner.

I/We hereby consent to the Bank for verification of my/our Aadhaar to establish its genuineness through online/offline verification or any other mode as prescribed or permitted by UIDAI or under any act or law from time to time. The consent and purpose of collecting Aadhaar has been explained to me/us in local language. The Bank has informed me/us that my/our Aadhaar submitted with the Bank herewith shall not be used for any other purpose other than those mentioned above, or as per requirement(s) under applicable law(s). Bank has confirmed that it shall not collect/use/store my/our Aadhaar number or biometric information for any purpose except as permitted under applicable laws.

I/We hereby declare that all the information is voluntarily furnished by me and same is true, correct and complete. I will not hold the Bank or any of its official responsible for any incorrect information provided by me.

It has been informed by the Bank, that:

  1. Submission of Aadhaar is not mandatory, and there are alternative options for KYC and establishing identity including by way of physical KYC with officially valid documents other than Aadhaar. All options were given to me.
  2. For e-KYC/authentication/offline verification, Bank will share Aadhaar number and/or biometrics with UIDAI, and UIDAI in response will share with Bank the authentication data, Aadhaar data, demographic details, registered mobile number, identity information, which shall be used for the enabling my account for Aadhaar enabled Payment Services (AEPS).

I do hereby authorise and give my consent to the Bank as stated above.

Steps to download Admit Card:

1.Login to the portal https://hrms.megcab.com:4438/MEGCAB_Recruitment/CandidateApply/1
2. The portal can be accessed only using a Desktop/PC/Laptop, it cannot be accessed using Mobile.
3. In case the page is blank after clicking the link above, refresh the page or press F5.
4. Login with your registered email-Id and password.
5. In case you cannot remember your password, enter your registered email-Id and click on Forgot Password and you will be receiving an email on your registered email-Id.
6. After you login, click on Applied Details, where you can download the Provisional Admit Card(if eligible).

RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF MULTI - TASKING STAFF(REF: ADVERTISEMENT DATED:27.12.2024

        On Scrutiny of applications received, the list of shortcomings/discrepancies was published vide notice no.MCAB/HO/HRD/REC/MTS/2026 dated 26.03.2026 for Multi - Tasking Staff.

       In this connection, following are the instructions to be followed by candidates while submitting their representations/correcting the shortcomings. Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow instructions:-

Total size of the attachment must not exceed 2MB in size. Emails will be accepted only from the email address registered earlier. Emails sent from other addresses will not be entertained.
  2. Subject of the email will be in this format:Rectification Application for the post of <POST NAME>- <Application Registration Code> (MENTION YOUR APPLICATION REGISTRATION CODE HERE).Example if application registration code is MEGCAB2000123456 and applied for the post of Multi- Tasking Staff.Subject shall be Rectification Application for the post of Multi - Tasking Staff Application Registration code-MEGCAB2000123456.

b.  If due to some technical issues, fees were not paid earlier or  fees were partially paid - You may pay the fees/remaining fees through IMPS/NEFT transfer to account number 702002037849  of The Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. bearing IFSC   MCAB0000002.

   Kindly note the amount to be paid shall be as peradvertisement  and payment made through other modes other than NEFT/IMPS will be rejected. After successful payment, a scan of proof of the same is to be emailed mentioning the Transaction-ID, Transaction date and amount paid. Kindly do not submit the application form as proof but it should either be a receipt/accountstatement/screenshot of payment made clearly showing the account number (who has paid the fees),Bank name, IFS code of the remitting Bank and Bank Branch,transaction date and amount.

Clear scanned copy. The document should show the address of the applicant. It may either be EPIC or a valid Permanent Resident Certificate for recruitment purpose(preferably both) or any document in support of domicile issued by a competent Government authority.

7 Class-XII Marksheet not submitted Clear scanned copy of the Class-XII mark sheet.

Colour passport size photograph of full frontal(face) view with the head centred in the frame covering 70-80% of the photograph and taken within the last six months.

11 Name not matching with certificate Affidavit to support that the name in application and the name appearing in the certificates are of one and the same person.

      4.  Representations shall be rejected if:

            a. Sent through other mode except email as indicated above.

            b. The Bank does not receive the same within the date and time specified, i.e, 06.04.2026, 5:00p.m. The Bank will not be responsible for any delay in receipt of emails.

            c.  Not sent from the registered email address registered in the recruitment/application portal.

     5.   No further extension or any representation shall be considered by the Bank once the application has been rejected.

     6.   The Bank's decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and any lapse on the part of the candidate shall not be considered.
