Salaried persons are provided consumer durables loans for purchase of T.V. Set, Radio, Refrigerator, Two-Wheelers, Musical Instruments, Cooking Gas, Furniture and various other approved items.
Eligibility:
- Permanent salaried persons working under Government/ Government undertakings/ Semi-Government Institutions/ State Level Cooperative Institutions/Banks/Educational Institutions with a minimum service of one (1) year.
- Teachers working in private school receiving grant-in aid from Government of Meghalaya/ Teachers of Adhoc schools with a minimum service of five (5) years.
- Probationary/Training period may also be considered for the purpose of counting service.
- The salary of the applicant should preferably be credited to his/her account with our Bank. However, in case the employer is not willing to route the salary through our Bank, a letter should be obtained from the applicant stating the reason(s) for the same satisfactorily explaining the reason(s) thereof.
Documents Required:
- Duly filled up Application Form along with BM recommendation
- ID and Address Proof
- Six month’s salary details
- Quotation/Proforma Invoice of the item(s) to be purchased
- Surety salary and service certificate (if required)
